Rainbows are not racist
Rainbows reaching so high and so round.
Running to follow the arch to the ground.
When you see a rainbow, do you look for the gold?
You won’t ever find it, so I’ve been told.
The colors of the rainbow is where the true riches lie.
So I watched and I waited as I looked to the sky.
Sometimes it takes months to see a rainbow again.
They only appear after a rain.
I was hoping to find my gold in a pot.
I found my riches, but from a rainbow it’s not.
I filled my life with beautiful things.
I see the rainbow of love that it brings.
People are people, race shouldn’t matter at all.
It’s family and friends that pick you up when you fall.
My family is so colorful they make the rainbow look plain.
So build your own riches don’t wait for the rain.
